In the magazine of VERS Film and TV I made an editorial illustration for the interview with Sven Peetoom and Juliëtte Dominicus about their documentairy 'Indisch Zwijgen' (translated: Indo's Silence).

A beautiful documentairy I think. In the book case you'll see different elements that pass by in the documentairy and habits that lot's of people with Indonesian roots will recognize: like lighting a candle for deceased family and putting food next to the photo's during a special event. To let them know we think about them and we want to share the special day with our family that unfortunately already passed away.
